I wonder how many of us unmistakeningly feel responsible for the jealousy and resentment in our siblings -- natural reactions when parents are not proactive in setting the stage, in childhood, for healthy, lifelong relationships.
It's an additional precaution parents have to take. And, even the most astitute parents sometimes are not successful in fosting those effective relationships.
We are aliens born into "normal" families -- aliens because no one expected us to be different. That's not easy for anyone involved.
