Today is September 29, 2000. I visited with my son today.

We were forced to place him in a care facility because no one would assist me with his needs. I am also getting tired and older as this new and unwanted "lifestyle" becomes a way of life for my family and my son.

My son seemed okay today but watching him twitch because of the "neuroleptic poisoning" angers me. Why does my only child have to be a victim of this senseless psychiatric fraud. I have met so many others who must deal with this fraud also. I also know victims that have died because of these so-called "scientific pharmaceutical trials". One lady who's son was institutionalized is still in horror that her son had to die while being monitored in this facility. Something is REAL WRONG with this system.

Last January 1999 we decided that I had to move and take my son to a "safe place". Finding a safe place is more than a job if it involves "withdrawal from neuroleptics". No one wants to help you at all. Most of these places called "rehabs" only help people who are addicted to "street drugs or alcohol". Neuroleptics scares people away. Most of the "rehabs" throughout the United States had no idea what I was searching for. My phone bill was very high and I should have known better than to think someone somewhere would understand.

As I learned through talking and the internet when someone is being drugged with neuroleptics the most hideous line I heard over & over was "neuroleptics must be used for life". All that means is that they will not help "withdraw" someone but the "system" will combine many "chemicals" and watch for side-effects and tell the families that the person's behavior is due to genetic Mental Illness.

Several so-called "doctors" advised us that this would be the program for our son. I still refused to give in. Why should my son be poisoned any longer? Why should I have to clean all these hideous messes after they discharge him with their "chemical bubble paks"?? They told us that he was "SuperSensitive to All Neuroleptics and that he may never be able to have any Drugs" but they still drug him every time he ends up in EPS. Ending up in Emergency Psyche Services is the only place people like my son can go when they are out of control due to "withdrawal" from "Mind Altering Chemicals".

If my son was ORIGINALLY in the system because he "heard voices or saw images" then maybe I would think out their views. I still would rather have him hearing voices or hallucinating compared to pacing like a robot, rocking in place, drooling all day, wetting his pants, etc.!

They DID THIS TO MY SON! I am so glad I have videos of him skate boarding, bowling, riding his bike and looking "normal". I am also glad I had the nerve to video him DAMAGED BY NEUROLEPTICS! I spent three years catching the horrifying damage these so-called "professionals" forced my son to have and his Tardive Dyskinesia is irreversible. Two very important doctors assessed our son. One was a neurologist the other a psychiatrist. Both wrote extensive letters stating that our son "should never be given neuroleptics"!

At this time and because of all the unjustified damages done to our family I live three hours away from my real home. My real home was too close to the people who did all this damage to our son. My real home was not a real home for our son. If he went for a walk he would be stopped by police because he walks and looks different. He had several years of suicidal feelings because of the SSRI's they forced him to take. He would go out on the expressway and lay down hoping to be hit by a car. He was a lonely young man, not himself at all and not his fault at all but the fault of beaurocratic system who capture people and commit them to abusive and coercive treatment. He is still immature and I know it's because the "blunting of the thought process" keeps someone from growing the normal way, DRUG FREE!

He looks forward to having a friend he likes come and stay with us once a month. He never had a girlfriend or a relationship. I am amazed that this psycho-system can rip years away from a person and then throw them in forensic-jail settings. Most of these people do not understand what they did wrong. It is painfully horrid.

My son's friend is on 13 drugs a day. Each and every time I pick her up they hand me the "Bubble Pak". All the drugs are put together so she won't forget to take them all. A morning pak, a lunchtime pak and and evening pak. She is 26 also and has a Public Guardian Conservator. She rarely sees or talks to this court appointed person. Many times I had to help her with money and needs because when you live in a board & care you get three dollars a day. Some people get less so she is really lucky. She has spent the last 7 years being tossed around from place to place and many times put into the hospital psyche ward where they change the drugs or STABILIZE someone. Once stabilized (it takes about a month and I think that it costs taxpayers $3,000)then the social worker looks for a board & care. She and my son aren't the only ones living an unjustified life I have met hundreds of people over the last 5 years.

Right now there are several families living in the area where I moved too who have run away from the "system" in the state where they were raised. The frightening words "Your Son/Daughter/Husband/Wife/Father/Mother will be committed for life and drugged for life was enough to make these people leave. Even court ordered victims have run-away and choose (some of them know the Amendments of the Constitution)not to have "Mind Altering Chemicals" put into their bodies and brains. Our group is growing larger each and everyday.

I consider it a Disability to have a label placed upon a human no matter what the reason. A label that takes away your rights, your freedom and destroys the brain.
