Good question, Jack. Where do you fit in? Do you see yoursef as AB or Crip? As for the disability community, that really isn't an issue or option for you, is it? Why would you want to be part of a community of people who you refer to as "lockstep radicals" and "whiners"?

Don't wait for someone else to find a spot for you, Jack -- make it on your own, as you obviously believe you have already done in every other aspect of life.

I'm not really unsympathetic to your plight; I think, however, that you have a bit to learn about acceptance. You can't realistically expect to be accepted by people for whom you have little or no respect. Take a good look within, ask yourself what you have to offer others. When you know you have something to give, you are more likely to be accepted by people, whether AB or Crip. Good luck.
