I am deaf man. In 1993, I became paralyzed because from my illness. My spinal cord (c-5 and 6) was damaged from lifting 30 to 60 lbs. per units. I was working for Digital Co. for 11 years.

In 1990, I had surgery on my spinal cord. I got better, but I can't work. I am on worker comp. Later on, in 1993, I became paralyzed, and I was very disappointed because I was paralyzed.

In 1996, I became saved and now have in the Lord. I am happy that I have some friends. I go anywhere I want. I go to Deaf Club and Church.

In 1998, I had another surgery on C-1 to 4 on my spinal cord because my right arm was declining badly. So, after surgery, I got upset and disappointed again. My right hand is dead and can't hold good, but my arm is still moving. It can't feeling nothing; it's numb. I couldn't drive anymore because my right arm and hand were numb and my hand couldn't hold good.

I can't drive anymore. I felt bad that I couldn't go anywhere. But, someone from our church drives for me to go to church three times a week. Later on, I must keep faith and don't think of depression. Keep faith in myself to keep me cheered up and look up with the Lord to keep me positive and happy. I make a suggestion to myself to keep positive. I don't think of being paralyzed and cheer up better.

Last month, somehow, I felt depressed and disappointed myself again. I must think to keep my faith and keep positive, but it bother me. Seems the Devil deceived me to cause me go down. I quit my Church. I pray to myself very hard to keep me away from the Devil. I did cry very hard and felt disappointed.

After that, I feel better and happy myself. I thank to my Lord to make me feel better. I still keep strong faith and positive to make me feel better. I have no friends to come visit with me, but only my church pastor comes to visit with me sometimes. So pray for me to make me feel better. Thank you and God bless you.
