Learning to love my disability

I have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis five years ago. It was a difficult turn for me. I was in the peak of my youth when my dreams were simply soaring high. When the disability came, I thought it was a downfall for me.

On the other hand, I came to realize that I learned a lot on accepting uncertainties in life, humility and patience ... things I could never have uniquely learned if not for the event of my MS. Loving the disability helped a lot. It became my reason to live a fuller life, to strive more, to love more, to share my life more. Since the disability has been remitting and recurring, I have learned how to live with the disability and move on with life as usual.

Life went on ... and life will definitely go on. To all my fellow differently abled friends out there ... life is but too beautiful and precious to be left unappreciated and lived to the fullest.

Hoping that there will be a stronger, brighter and hope-filled future for all of us wherever we may be.
