Judy, your story is one of a limited few that I have thoroughly read over and over. Your story warmed my heart and I support you and encourage you to continue.
You have taken what was thrust upon you and turned it every way possible until you discovered how best to adjust and cope. You turned the spotlight inward and looked hard at all the options -- trying a few before falling down -- but always getting back up to try again another option. You blamed no one because it was no one's fault.
You are indeed a teacher. I hope people with all types of disabilities -- even mine, which is quadriplegia -- read and truly listen to you. You are to be commended. Hugs to you. Eddie.
