They had no handicap accessible bathrooms in the high school when I was going...so I had been given the rights to use the bathroom in the auto body shop of the high school....VERY bad choice of bathrooms let me tell YOU.....all thru my sophomore year I used that bathroom. When it came to my junior year, I got up to the middle of that year and ended up getting extremely toxic due to having grease on the sink and the toilet every single day and unable to do anything about it.....I use a catheter since 1974 due to this problem.....(that was my junior year) I ended up going only half of that year to high school and I BARELY passed my junior year thanks to the kindnesses of my teachers.....well that was the last straw with me going to school after i graduated in 1975, as I was so toxic i almost died! Priest in the hospital even gave me last rites! That's how close I was! .....well....How I dealt with it is not the wisest decision I could ever make I know that... I should not have stopped going to school altogether. I'd LOVE To go to college but my protective parents are afraid if I go to college fulltime, I'd get another UTI and end up in the hospital again..... So as you see I'm NOT dealing with the issue.....anybody else have similar stories out there?
