Anne, thank you for your truthful words about a subject that all too often gets no mention.

I am quadriplegic and need nursing pretty much all the time. Some of the nurses who come into my home reflect the apathy and ignorance of the nurses you spoke of in your unit. We are human beings who feel and hurt, even though you may think you know better.

Thank you, Anne, for being a human being first and a nurse second. Congratulations on your integrity and thank God for giving you strength and courage in the face of adversity to proclaim publically what is privately ignored. Hugs to you.
