My story beings on November 9,2000. I was 23 weeks along with my second child when I had a bad headache. I called my doctor who told me to go to the hospital for oberstation. I left work and proceeded to the hospital. Take in mind that there are two hospitals in my area. I went to the one to laboring mothers. I never made it inside. I passed out in my car in the parking lot. Only to be found by a FedEx driver. He went into the office where he was making a deliverly and informed a billing specialist. I was rushed to the other hospital 10 minutes away. Where they did a CT Scan and found a bleed. I was lucky that my neurosurgen was there finishing up another surgery. I was taken in to the operating room and that is where they found the AVM. For those of you who do not know what that is here is a brief history. You are born with it, it is a mass of artiers and vessels without the caperrials. Any way they removed it an d I was in the hospital for three weeks and then in rehab for 4 months. I am now back at work. Trying to get disability which is exemterly hard to do.
