Good Evening. For over the past 30 years I have tried to be an advocate and voice for the rights and the hiring and promotion of anyone that is disabled or physically challenged like myself that just wants to be independent and a good productive employee. Now as I have been needing help myself I can not it seems for some unknown reason find anyone that has the courage it would take to stand up for me and my rights as a physically challenged individual that were allowed to be totally ignored and walked all over. Back in April of 2000 I lost my job at a hospital here in Sout Carolina while I was a patient in the vry same hospital for an unexpected medical condition that I had no control over that almost cost me my life. I also raise the question of just why does the EEOC refuse to enforce the Americans With Disabilities Act as they are supposed to do to protect the rights of the disabled and physically challenged fom being threatened and violated liie mine were allowed to be. I just shudder to think of whose rights could be the very next to fall and be trampled all over like mine were allowed to be. Thanks so much.
