I cannot beleive how ignorant and uncaring some people are. I think part of the problem is that movies and books do not really portray the reality of injury and disability. Some people have acually gone so far as to say that handicapped people should not produce children. (even slightly handicapped as in limping!) I have a web site where I posted the picutres of my injuries. One person, refused to believe that they are real, because of the lack of blood. Movies again. She insisted it was a theatre prop. Why? In the movies they add blood. I guess she met it was a prop before the blood. The facts are that it was real after cleaning the blood. You see, nothing is urgent about emergency surgery and they really do not leave the blood dripping all over the floor before surgery!!! Some people are so ignorant!!! Lindy http://www.layabrick.com
