Story

I come here and put up a post and then go away and come back and go through the motions again. Does anyone come to this page? I have received a few e mails. I come back to read something profound or illuminating, but often I don't get the reward I wanted.

Today I was with someone who made me madder than a wet hornet. The person was myself. I did not like the kind of crip I am, and I want to do something about it. Then I was in a room full of crips and threw out some questions like the ones in the title. I have had so many discussions about policy and what a person can do to take charge. I don't enjoy doing it any more.

You can't sit on the commode all your life. You either have to do your business or get off the commode and let someone else use it.

So, what is your plan? How you going to solve that problem you have? I don't have any answers. This is your life; I can't live it for you. The laws are all in place. How many of you are ready to go to jail? How many of you will practice civil disobedience to force change in social policies that deal with disabled people? You have to make a decision; the time is here. Either start to fish or cut bait.

Come on; finish your business or get off the toilet.
