Children with handicaps being alienated from Girl Scouts

Why is it that the Girl Scouts of America promotes such a healthful, communicating, friendly spirit when my daughter, who is in a wheelchair, has to be carried by her father to the upstairs meetings they constantly hold. They will not hold the meetings downstairs where she can access them with dignity; she is always reminded of her handicap by the fact that she has to be seen being carried by her father.

Her wheelchair has helped her accomplish so many things, yet the Girl Scouts degrade her self esteem by not allowing her to enter their group with "dignity." Is this what this group is all about? You can only join if you're "fit" and "able"? I thought not??
